Mark de Reus, Chairman of the Board and Advisory Council Member

Mark de Reus leads de Reus Architects and has 30 years of experience delivering architectural services to private clients and developers. He started his own firm in 2005 on the Big Island of Hawaii and prior to that, Mr. de Reus was Managing Principal of Hart Howerton's office and the lead design architect for the acclaimed private beach club at Kuki'o on the North Kona Coast. Prior to Hart Howerton, he was Managing Director with PAI in Jakarta, Indonesia, and a Senior Vice President with Backen, Arrigoni and Ross in San Francisco.

Mr. de Reus holds a board position with Hawaii Schools for Success, founded by Dr. Sharon Vitousek. He also supports the Rehabilitation Hospital of the Pacific and Aloha Medical Mission. While in Indonesia, he designed a vocational orphanage in Sumatra to assist the Rahmania Foundation.

He earned his B.A. Architecture from the University of Idaho.

Mr. de Reus is chairman of the Hawaii Meth Project Board.
